Jackson County Public Library volunteers are needed to help with a variety of assignments, including assisting with library programs, cleanup projects including materials and technology devices, adopt-a-shelf, cutting coupons, homebound delivery, working on databases, teaching technology, and scanning and digitizing photos.

They also assist library staff members in providing quality service. Anyone 13 years old or older may fill out an application to become a library volunteer.

For information, contact volunteer coordinator Christina Hime at 812-522-3412 ext. 1238. Applications may be found at the checkout desk at any Jackson County Public Library location or online at myjclibrary.org/volunteer-opportunities.
