Judith “Judie” Polley, 67, of Seymour, passed away at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at her home.

Born July 14, 1947, in Princeton, she was the daughter of Charles W. and Margaret Louise Bush Yeager. She married Thomas W. Polley on Aug. 17, 1968, at Central Christian Church in Seymour.

She was a 1965 graduate of Seymour High School and attended Purdue University. Judie was owner and operator of Judie’s Kids Inc., a day care in Seymour, for 34 years.

Judie was a member of Central Christian Church. She loved reading, cooking, hiking, traveling, running, spending time with friends and family and making crafts with her kids.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Polley of Seymour; her mother, Margaret Louise Yeager of Seymour; a son, Brian T. (Stacey) Polley of Seymour; a daughter, Lori A. (John) Henderson, Edinburgh; five grandchildren, Dillon, Dalton and C.J. Polley and Lilly and Liza Henderson; three brothers, David (Diane) Yeager of Valparaiso, Bruce Yeager of Evansville and Phil Yeager of Indianapolis; and a sister, Becky (Dan) Bottorff of Seymour.

The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Central Christian Church, with the Rev. Kit Bogan officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church.

Cremation rites will be accorded.
