NORTH VERNON

J. F. Wilkerson, 89, of North Vernon, died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2014, at his residence.

Survivors include a son, Randy (LuAnn) Wilkerson of North Vernon; a daughter, Joyce Taskey Durham of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Golda Hauersperger; a daughter, Mary Young; and a son, Paul Wilkerson.

A private graveside service was conducted Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery at Four Corners with the Rev. Jerry Byrd officiating. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service handled arrangements.
