Friends of the Jackson County Public Library will sponsor its last monthly book sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 6 in the book cellar at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

Hardbacks and large softbound books cost $1, and DVDs are available for $2. Children’s and young adult books are 50 cents.

In 2015, book sales will be conducted quarterly in the Seymour Library meeting room. The times and dates of those sales are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 7, May 2, Aug. 1 and Nov. 7.

Proceeds from the sales benefit programs and projects at all library locations. Donations of gently used books, movies and music are appreciated to help stock the now-quarterly sales and the ongoing sales at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries. Donations may be left at any checkout desk.

Anyone interested in becoming a 2015 Friends member can find membership forms at the checkout desk or at the sale. Annual dues are $5 for individual, $10 for family, $25 for donor and $50 for benefactor.
