Central Christian Church’s annual Hanging of the Greens service will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the sanctuary of the church at 1434 W. Second St., Seymour.

The service will be followed by a tasting party in the fellowship hall. Day care ministry students and the children of the church will sing during this special service. Clowns Windy Brendy and Joy Full will be assisting the children with decorating the tree in the lobby and participating in the service.

Several others events are planned for the holidays.

The Columbus City Band will return to the church for a concert at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 7, and at 1 p.m. that day, students of Virginia Ernest will present a piano and organ recital.

At 9 a.m. Dec. 14, the worship choir plans to present a musical, “A Christmas Invitation.”

There also will be a communion service at 7 p.m. Dec. 24 and a candlelight and communion service at 11 p.m. that day.
