NORTH VERNON

Betty R. Day, 82, of North Vernon, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.

Survivors include a son, Dennis W. (Claudette) Day of North Vernon; and a grandson, Dennis A. Day.

Her husband, Thomas Day, preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be at noon today at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. The Rev. Anthony Sweeney will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital for Children through the funeral home.
