All Seymour city offices, including the department of public works and Seymour Transit, will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Trash and recycling normally collected Thursdays in Seymour will be picked up with Wednesday’s regular route while trash and recycling normally collected Fridays will be picked up Monday.

Jackson County government offices also will be closed along with the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles license branch at 501 N. Burkart Blvd. in Seymour.

The license branch will resume regular business hours at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
