The Medora girls basketball team picked up an impressive 56-35 win against Cannelton, boosted by 19 points from junior Carley McCammon (three three-pointers) and 17 points by junior Avery Carney.
In the first quarter, the Hornets were able to outscore the Bulldogs 18-4.
At the half, the Hornets were able to hold on to a 29-15 lead.
In the third quarter, the Bulldogs tallied eight points while the Hornets notched seven.
The Hornets found their form again in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Bulldogs 20-11 to pick up their second win of the season.
With the win, the Hornets move to 2-4 on the season.
