Joseph H. Coombs, 97, of North Vernon, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014, at Jennings Health Care Center in North Vernon.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. North Vernon. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery in Vernon. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.
