A partnership between Schneck Medical Center Vituity to enhance patient and family experiences in its emergency Department recently was announced.
This new approach prioritizes making care faster, friendlier and compassionate for every patient who walks through the doors, according to a news release from the Seymour hospital.
“For nearly 50 years, Vituity has been a leader in patient-centered care, setting the standard for how emergency medicine should be delivered,” said Ryan Stone, chief medical officer at Schneck. “Their experience and dedication allow us to provide not only expert clinical care but also a more seamless, compassionate experience for patients and families.”
With Vituity’s arrival, Schneck is introducing several patient-focused enhancements and the team is dedicated to streamlining wait times and improving communication to keep families informed every step of the way, according to the news release.
This patient-first approach means that providers can respond more quickly, resolve concerns efficiently and prioritize comfort and reassurance during what can be a stressful time.
“Our goal is simple: to make each patient’s visit to our emergency department as positive and supportive as possible,” said Dr. Kelley Ramey, Schneck Emergency Department medical director. “We know that emergency visits can be daunting for patients and their families, so we’re committed to making sure everyone who comes to Schneck receives not just the best care, but also the warmest, most considerate service.”
Beyond providing exceptional medical care, Vituity’s team will be actively engaged in understanding the needs of the community, listening to feedback and continuously improving the patient experience.
