History for the Ages presenting Genealogy Resources on October 26

As part of National Family History Month, Kassidy Cobb, founder presenter of History for the Ages (historyfortheages.com) will educate attendees ages 13 and older on genealogy resources at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Jackson County Public Library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

Cobb will present The Ancestry Trifecta: Navigating Ancestry, Fold3, Newspapers. Cobb has a Bachelor of Science in history with a creative writing minor from Liberty University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in history. She serves as IT coordinator for the Tri-State Genealogical Society in Evansville and has been recognized by Congress, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Daughters of the American Revolution, Sons of the American Revolution and Daughters of the Union Veterans of the Civil War and other similar organizations.

In 2019, she was featured in Kentucky Living Magazine for her initiative to secure Veterans Affairs grave markers for past service members.
