In her new position, Shepherd-Brooks will be responsible for planning, implementation and evaluating programming at the organizations’ largest site, continuing her commitment to achieve the mission of inspiring and empowering all young people to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

Shepherd-Brooks has been with the club since January 2020 and began her employment with the organization through the launch of the school-based site at Graham Creek Elementary as a youth development professional.

Shepherd-Brooks advanced into the area program director of Jennings County helping to oversee and manage both Graham Creek Elementary and North Vernon Elementary programs.

“We are excited to promote Tabby to senior program director,” said Ryon Wheeler, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club. “Her track record of personal growth, leadership and most importantly program impact has made her an invaluable member of our team. We are confident that she will thrive in this new role and help take our organization to new heights.”

As Shepherd-Brooks takes on new responsibilities, the Boys and Girls Club has opened the search for her replacement as the area program director in Jennings County.

The ideal candidate will have experience in program and staff management and share the organization’s values of providing a world-class experience to every child that walks through the doors.
