Trinity Lutheran Senior Nights

On Thursday, Trinity’s Cheyenne Campbell was honored for senior night on the Cougars cross-country team. The ceremony took place during the girls’ soccer game with Salem, which also honored the three seniors on the soccer team.

Layla Jones, Delaney Williams, and Abby Lorenz were celebrated before the game. Trinity would end up winning the match over the Lions, 2-1.

Brownstown’s Sheffer commits to Purdue

Three-sport athlete and Brownstown junior Micah Sheffer announced his committment to Purdue on Thursday. Sheffer will play golf in West Lafeyette for the Boilermakers in 2026

The junior plays QB for the football team, plays basketball, and is the No. 1 golfer on the boys’ golf team in the spring.

Seymour’s Richey commits to Anderson

Seymour right-handed pitcher Braden Richey announced his committment to go up north and play for the Anderson Ravens on Thursday.

The senior has one more season of varsity baseball this upcoming spring. Richey is 15-2 over three varsity pitching seasons, tossing 5 complete games, and striking out 117 batters over 88.1 innings of work. His ERA is under 2 at 1.82 over three seasons.
