Freetown Church of Christ is set to host their Senior Day event from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 24 at the church at 7077 N. State Road 135, Freetown.

Lunch will be catered by The Pines and will consist of Swiss steak, macaroni and cheese, Swiss chicken casserole, coleslaw, fried chicken tenders, dinner rolls, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet and unsweet tea, green beans and desserts.

The theme of the day will be “God & Country,” with focus on “The Father, Son and Holy Ghost, freedoms we share here in America, and the freedom we have in Christ.”

Those slated to appear are The Dave Melton Family Singers, Ron Bridgewater, Calib Smith, Bryan and Yvonne Hutson, J. D. Miller, Betty Gray and Barry DeWitt.

Dave Lucas will be the speaker for the day.
