The Jackson County Council is set to meet at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.

New business on the agenda includes a public hearing on the 2024 Jackson County and binding units budget, a public hearing on Pershing Township, an ARPA discussion by the Jackson County Fair Board, and a discussion on state-mandated recording software.

County council meetings are open to the public and the press.
