Lane closures planned on Interstate 65 at Jackson and Scott counties

Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to conduct temporary overnight right lane closures on northbound and southbound Interstate 65 beginning on or after Monday, September 16, to complete patching work between Seymour and Scottsburg.

Crews will begin work in the right lane of southbound I-65 at mile marker 47 near Seymour and will continue to move south to mile marker 30. Crews will then begin work in the right lane of northbound I-65 at mile marker 30 and complete work at mile marker 47 near Seymour. Work is expected to take up to four nights, weather permitting. Crews plan to work from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night.

INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use caution and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
