A volunteer work day in honor of National Public Lands Day on Sept. 28 is planned at the visitor center at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge, 12985 E. U.S. 50, Seymour.

Work will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome and staying all day is not required. Work projects will include litter pick-up, invasive plant removal, wildflower plug planting and light landscaping work around the visitor center.
