The Southern Indiana Flying Eagles will host a fly-in to benefit the Humane Society of Jackson County from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the remote-controlled model airplane club’s flying field in the Freeman Field Industrial Park in Seymour.
In conjunction with the fly-in, the Para Motor Club will be in attendance. Para Motor involves a person flying with a motor on their back and a parachute, which allows them to glide through the air.
Any type and size aircraft are welcome.
The landing fee is a cash donation or a donation of paper towels, bleach, detergent, garbage bags, black and white toys, non-scoopable cat litter, Purina Dog Chow, cat, puppy and kitten food, dog treats and biscuits. All proceeds will benefit the Humane Society.
Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available.
