Jamestown Apartments on Seymour’s southeast side will be a hosting a National Night Out event from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The event is designed to allow neighbors to celebrate National Night Out, a crime prevention and awareness day observed in communities across the country.
Jamestown Apartments is the only site in Jackson County that takes part in National Night Out and has been doing so for more than 20 years.
During this year’s event, open to anyone in the community, there will be food, drinks, fun activities and much more.
The Fraternal Order of Police Donald M. Winn 108 plans to serve snow cones and there also will be a Seymour Fire Department truck there.
Jamestown Apartments is located at 745 Miller Lane.
