A “Celebration of Pollinators” will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge, 12985 E. U.S. 50, Seymour.
There will be pollinator themed children’s activities, a face-painter, a honeybee exhibit, pollinator programs and lots of information available about gardening for and conserving pollinators.
Programs will include a butterfly identification stroll at 11 a.m. and a program about creating habitat for pollinators at 12:30 pm. A local “Queen Bee” will be there with prizes for children doing a “bee toss.”
Free starts of pollinator plants also will be given away. All activities are free, and everyone is welcome. For information call 812-522-4352 x 12.
