Lindia L. Brock, age 83, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024, at Lutheran Community Home in Seymour, IN. She was born on January 17, 1941, in Seymour, Indiana, to the late Charles Claude and Verna Louise (Keller) Murphy.

Lindia was a dedicated homemaker and also worked at Sylvania in quality control. She was known for her exceptional crocheting skills, creating numerous Afghans that will be cherished by her family and friends. She enjoyed weekly dinners with friends from her workplace gardening and most of all, loved spending time with her family. Lindia was a caregiver by nature, loved everyone she met, and was always kind.

She is survived by her two daughters, Rhonda (Rob) Hunsucker of Seymour, IN, and Grace Leilani (Ron) Looney of Roanoke, IN; nine grandchildren; Jason (Megan) Bozarth of Fishers, IN, Amanda (Casey) Howard of Uniontown, IN, Brock (Nichole) Looney of Fort Wayne, IN, Maeghan Looney of Roanoke, IN, Joseph (Marcia) Brock of Santa Clarita, CA, Elissa (Tyler) Drendel of North Aurora, IL, Matthew Brock of Earlville, IL, Ellery Brock of Peoria, IL, Garrett Brock of Peoria, IL, seven great-grandchildren; Price Bozarth, Jude Bozarth, Drey Howard, Jent Howard, Colton Looney, Madison Looney, J.J. Drendel, and her siblings, Kathryn Barnthouse of Seymour, IN, Richard Murphy of Seymour, IN, Robert Murphy of Columbus, IN, Roy K. Murphy of Seymour, IN, and Harold Murphy of Seymour, IN.

Lindia was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Claude and Verna Louise (Keller) Murphy, one son John Charles Brock, and siblings James Murphy, and infant brother, Frank Allen Murphy.

Officiant Ron Looney will conduct funeral services on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Crothersville, with a burial to follow at Uniontown Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, and again from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Saturday.
