Norman man found dead after crash Thursday in Seymour

A 54-year-old Jackson County man found unresponsive after a crash Thursday was later pronounced dead at Schneck Medical Center, police report.

The cause of death for William I. Miller of Norman is pending an autopsy and toxicology, according to a news release from Lt. C.J. Foster with Seymour Police Department.

Foster said officers responding to a report of a vehicle crash in the 2000 block of East Tipton Street at 7:37 p.m. Thursday found a vehicle that had been traveling west had left the road and struck two parked vehicles.

Officers checked on the male driver, later identified as Miller, and found him unresponsive inside the vehicle, Foster said.

Officers started life-saving measures until Jackson County Emergency Medical Services and Seymour Fire Department arrived and Miller was taken to Schneck.
