Brownstown library offering solar eclipse program for grades K-2

A program designed to teach kids in grades K-2 about the April 8 total solar eclipse will be offered at 3:30 p.m. March 12 at the Brownstown Public Library, 120 E. Spring St., Brownstown.

Children will get a basic introduction of how the solar eclipse takes place through a combination of stories, hands-on activities and a craft.

Each participant will receive a pair of solar eclipse glasses to take home with them at the end of the program. Registration is required due to limited space and may be completed at the circulation desk or by calling the library at 812-358-2853.
