The Jackson County Council is set to meet at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.

Agenda items include discussion of the 2024 salary ordinance for approval and council board appointments. Elected officials and department heads also are scheduled to give their monthly reports.

Council meetings are open to the public and press.
