The Humane Society of Jackson County has a couple of upcoming fundraisers to benefit the nonprofit organization.

The Bring Christmas to the Animals open house is from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the facility, 1109 G Ave. West, Seymour.

Items needed include Purina Puppy Chow, Purina Cat Chow, bleach, paper towels, laundry detergent, trash bags, nonscoopable cat litter, gas cards, dollar store gift cards and Nylabones.

Then from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 16, take your furry loved ones to Paws-N-Klaws Pet Parlor, 631 W. Second St., Seymour, for pictures with Santa. The cost is $20.

Proceeds will benefit the cats and dogs at the shelter.
