The Seymour Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the council chambers at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.
The agenda includes Jose Torres requesting a variance at 409 Cornerstone Ave. to vary from the required 20-foot rear setback to be at 6 feet to build a gazebo/pergola on the back of his house. He already has started on it not realizing he needed a variance.
Also, Sandra Kell is requesting a variance at 2646 Pebble Brook Drive. She put up a 6-foot fence but lives on a corner lot and is restricted to where she can put the fence. The fence already is up, and she did not know she needed a variance.
