Southern Indiana Center for the Arts is offering a variety of classes through February at the center, 2001 N. Ewing St., Seymour.

A Christmas wreath workshop is from 3 to 5 p.m. Dec. 2. Florist Christin Turmail will help participants create a personalized Christmas wreath. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Sign up by messaging SICA on social media. The cost is $45 for members and $55 for guests.

SICA instructor Silas Cheo will lead a flower painting class from 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 6. The cost is $25 for members and $35 for guests. All materials are included.

A still life workshop is scheduled for noon to 3 p.m. Jan. 13 with Cheo. The cost is $30 for members and $40 for guests with all materials furnished.

Learn and explore methods of abstract painting from noon to 3 p.m. Jan. 20. The cost is $30 for members and $40 for guests with materials included.

A pastel drawing class is set for noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 3. Again, it’s $30 for members and $40 for guests with materials provided.

Learn how to paint a cow on canvas in a cow painting workshop from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 10. The cost is $30 for members and $40 for guests with materials included.

SICA also offers art lessons for all ages and skill levels between 2 and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday or by appointment.

One of the many perks of being a member is discounted class fees. Individual memberships start at $25 and are good through Dec. 31, 2024.
