The 2023-24 Indiana Beef Cattle Association and Purdue Area 2 beef meeting is set for noon Dec. 9 at Pewter Hall, 850 W. Sweet St., Brownstown.
The association’s area meetings are open to all beef producers and feature information about beef issues, policies, programs, food and fellowship. There also will be updates about current news and events from the association, Indiana Beef Council, Indiana State Board of Animal Health, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and Purdue Extension.
Area 2 includes Jackson, Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Lawrence, Orange, Scott and Washington counties. Steve Ritter of Norman is the current Area 2 director.
