Sakura Helping Hands donates $3,500 to city

Sakura Helping Hands donated a total of $3,500 to the city of Seymour from its booth sales during the 50th annual Seymour Oktoberfest.

While it varies each year, Mayor Matt Nicholson said he will be getting together with the Seymour Parks and Recreation Department to use the money toward something for kids.

“The donation is always very much appreciated, and these ladies work hard every year to give back to the community,” Nicholson said.

The ladies of Sakura Helping Hands said this Oktoberfest year was an exciting experience for them with a huge success.
