SEYMOUR

Glen E. Heideman, 83, passed away on September 9, 2023. Born on January 29, 1940 in Seymour, he was the son of Roy and Cora (Bode) Heideman. He married Janet S. Guinn on November 11, 1962.

Glen is survived by his wife, one son, Gary (Sandy) Heideman, one daughter, Cheryl Ziegler, three grandchildren, Erica (Darren) Paul, Drew (Lynsey) Heideman, Craig (April) Ziegler and great grandchildren Kaden and Mason Paul. Other survivors include one brother, Harold (Sandy J) Heideman, sister-in-law Prima Heideman and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Fred Heideman.

Glen served in the Indiana National Guard. He worked 32 years at Pantasote as an inspector and 16 years at Aisin as an operator. Glen loved family, friends, church, woodworking, and fishing. He was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 605 S. Walnut Street, Seymour, IN 47274. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm with Rev. Ralph Blomenberg and Rev. Philip Bloch officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill (Acme) Cemetery, 6000 N County Rd 100 E, Seymour, IN, 47274.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given through Burkholder Chapel to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the Immanuel Lutheran School Faith in our Future Fund.
