Outreach Services Assistant Jillian Vaughn gave a report about the Discovery Bus programs and stops when the Jackson County Public Library board of trustees met Monday at the Seymour Library.

Board President Dan Davis and Director Julia Aker also gave a report on the American Library Association Conference they attended in June in Chicago, Illinois.

The board approved joining the State Consortium for Public Library Internet Access July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, staff changes and a change to the purchasing policy.

The board’s next meeting, after a 4 p.m. executive session to discuss personnel, is at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 21 at the Crothersville Library.
