The 18th annual Cars and Guitars Inc. cruise-in and concert is Saturday in the streets of downtown Seymour.

Preregistered parking starts at noon with day-of-show parking to follow. All makes and models are welcome.

No awards will be presented for the cruise-in, but participants will have a chance to win door prizes. Several grand prizes will be awarded, too.

The public is invited to attend the free event. Lawn chairs are welcome. There also will be a silent auction, and a concert featuring Billy Brown will be from 6 to 8 p.m.

All proceeds will go toward physically challenged playground equipment for Seymour parks.

Vehicles parked downtown must be removed by 11 a.m. Saturday. Downtown streets will be closed until 8:30 p.m. Restaurants and downtown businesses are encouraged to remain open and consider extending hours to all visitors and participants, as this event draws a big crowd to Seymour.
