Palmer joins JCBank as vice president of human resources

Human resources veteran John D. Palmer recently joined JCBank as vice president of human resources.

“John brings more than 25 years of experience leading and managing human resources in a number of settings,” said Senior Vice President Melodie Yarnell, chief risk and management services officer. “He has served as an integral member of numerous leadership teams throughout his career, developing and training while enhancing corporate culture.”

Prior to joining JCBank, Palmer served as senior human resources manager for MACTAC in Columbus. His career has included stints with General Motors as well as the utilities and mining industries. Palmer is a graduate of Arizona State University, receiving a Master of Business Administration from Southern Utah University.

Seymour-based JCBank is an independent financial institution providing traditional banking and other relevant services to customers for more than 122 years. It has 11 locations in five southern Indiana counties, including Jackson, where there are offices in Seymour and Brownstown.
