BROWNSTOWN

Candace R. “Candi” Jones, 67, of Brownstown, died Thursday, July 14, 2022, at IU Hospital, Bloomington. She had been sick for 3 weeks. Candi was born on July 1, 1955, to the late William Jones &Margaret Jane Voelkel Brown. She was a 1973 graduate of Springs Valley High School. She had been married to Scott Jones for 43 years. She worked for Premier Companies in Brownstown for 14 years.

Survivors include her husband, Scott; children, Joyce Moore of Georgia, Heather Hienz of Seymour, Jeremy Shepard of Tennessee, &Scotty Jones of Seymour; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; &a sister, Susie Roach of French Lick.

Candi was preceded in death by her parents &2 brothers, Robin Ray Jones &James Richard Jones.

Candi enjoyed reading Amish books, crocheting, going to yard sales, and most of all spending time with her granddaughter, Chesnee Jones.

Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Home with Mitch Patrick officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Jones Family in care of Johnson Funeral Home.
