The Jackson County Community Action Network for Maternal and Infant Health plans to present a car seat safety event from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

The free drive-thru event will be held in the parking lot behind the Don and Dana Myers Cancer Center, 200 S. Pine St.

Those stopping by can have their car seat installation checked and receive a free community resource goody bag.
