Mary F. Lambert Hoaks, 76, of Seymour, passed away the morning of June 28, 2021, at her home where she lived for 44 years.

She was born in 1944 to the late James Norman Lambert and Alice Juanita Costigan Lambert in Evansville, Indiana. Mary will always be remembered for being an amazing mother, grandmother, and sister.

On June 21, 1964, she married Robert D. “Bob” Hoaks in Danville, Illinois.

Mary is survived by her daughter Kelly Dawn (David) Spencer; three grandchildren, Darren Tyler (Shelby Walp) Spencer, Kennedy Morgan (John Liford) Spencer, and Drake Adam (Lauren) Spencer; brothers, George (Julie) Lambert and Mark (Betsy) Lambert; sister, Peggy Smith and sister-in-law, Shirley Lambert.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband; son, Robert Hoaks Jr.; parents; brother, James Norman Lambert Jr.; sisters, Karen Lambert, and Martha Lambert.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Voss & Sons Funeral Service from 1-3pm.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 3pm at Voss Funeral Service.

Memorials may be written to Imagination Library of Jackson County or Donor’s Choice.
