The Medora Hornets closed out their Southern Roads Conference schedule Saturday night by falling to Christian Academy of Madison 57-38 despite a 19-rebound performance by Shepard Earl.

Earl had 16 defensive rebounds and three offensive.

Braxton McCory topped the Hornets in scoring with 15 points, and Earl scored 13.

Jaxon Miller topped Madison in scoring with 14 points, and Elijah Klummer and Clay Carter each scored 13.

Medora finished 0-5 in the conference.

Friday night, the Hornets lost 80-36 at Edinburgh.

The Lancers jumped out to a 21-5 lead at the end of the first period and led 37-20 at the half.

Earl was high scorer for the Hornets (2-16) with 14, while Noah Detling had 17 to lead the Lancers.

Medora will travel to Christian Academy of Indiana on Thursday night.
