Kocolene Development Corp. recently announced Tyler Thias, director of operations for Ranger3PL, has joined the Seymour company’s management committee, effective Oct. 1.
The decision to bring Thias onto the management committee was announced shortly after Chief Executive Officer Kevin Johnson stated in his annual State of the Corporation address that Kocolene’s vision for 2021 is to focus on growth opportunities in its core businesses: Retail and Ranger3PL.
Having played a key part in Kocolene’s investment in Thrive Well and his role as director of operations for Ranger3PL, Thias has proven his abilities as a leader and decision maker on the Kocolene team, according to a news release from Kocolene.
“As the youngest member of our management committee, we are looking forward to Tyler’s fresh perspectives and ideas to help bring continued success to our 82-year-old company,” Johnson said.
Thias began his career with Ranger3PL as a college intern. He is a 2015 graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in logistics and supply chain management.
Thias, his wife, Kelsey, and 8-month-old daughter, Meredith, live in Seymour. He is passionate about his community, where he serves on the board of directors for Leadership Jackson County, Seymour Area Youth Football League and treasurer for Seymour Main Street.
