The family of Nancy Ann Hoevener Stewart, 64, is saddened to announce her passing on September 24, 2020 at the Lutheran Community Home. She was the daughter of parents Ervin and Melba (Surenkamp) Hoevener. In 1986 she married the love of her life, Richard Stewart in Hawaii.

Nancy was a graduate of Seymour High School Class of 1974. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and PSI Iota. Nancy worked in the hospital lab for over 30 years and worked at the Circuit Court. She was an avid gardener and was a certified Master Gardener.

Nancy will be mourned by her husband, Rick; her sister, Karen (Vern) Heber; her nephews and their families, Ben (Whitney) Heber and their children Isaac, Rachel, and Ethan; and Josh (Veronica) Heber and their son Theodore.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Melba.

Funeral services for Nancy will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Andrew Currao and Reverend Joseph Barlau officiating. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Memorials honoring Nancy may be written to Trinity Lutheran High School or Redeemer Lutheran Youth, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
