The Indiana State Department of Health announced Sunday that 562 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at the state, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and private laboratories.

That brings to 11,210 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

Jackson County reported 13 new cases since Thursday, bringing its total to 90.

A total of 562 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days. 

Jackson County has yet to report a death related to COVID-19.

To date, 61,124 tests have been reported to ISDH, up from 56,873 on Saturday.

Jackson County has had 407 residents tested for the virus.

The complete list of counties with cases is included in the ISDH COVID-19 dashboard at coronavirus.in.gov. Cases are listed by county of residence. Private lab reporting may be delayed and will be reflected in the map and count when results are received at ISDH.

The dashboard will be updated at noon each day.

The ISDH also announced Sunday it will host free COVID-19 drive-thru testing clinics from Monday through Friday in Allen, Clark, Decatur and Lake counties.

The clinics will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, or until testing supplies run out. They are open to symptomatic healthcare workers, first responders and essential workers. Testing also is available to symptomatic individuals who live with one of these workers and people who have symptoms of COVID-19 and underlying medical conditions that put them at higher risk, such as obesity, high blood pressure or heart disease.

Testing is limited to one individual per vehicle. All individuals must be Indiana residents and present state-issued identification at the time of testing.

• Decatur County Fairgrounds, 545 S. County Road 200W, Greensburg
• Ivy Tech Community College Sellersburg, 8204 State Road 311, Sellersburg

According to statistics from Johns Hopkins University at noon Sunday, nationwide, there are 722,761 confirmed cases, 33,903 deaths and 64,840 documented recoveries.
