TROY, VIRGINIA

Wayne O. Cannon, 71, of Troy, Virginia passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born on December 22, 1947 in Washington, Indiana to the late Cecil Alonzo Cannon and Dorothy Reaser Cannon.

In 1966 Wayne graduated from Washington High School in Washington, Indiana and he then served in the Air Force. He worked as a computer technician at the Seymour Community Schools. He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Wayne enjoyed family, people, animals, photography, computers, cars; his philosophy was “Life is good today”.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Peggy Cannon; their sons, Dustin Cannon and wife Kayti of Troy, and Christopher Cannon and wife Jaime Easton of Charlottesville; eight grandchildren; and a brother, David Cannon, of Hawkinsville, GA.

Services will be private.
