Jeff “JW” Stradley, 61, of Brownstown, died at 2:23 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019 at his home. He had been ill for over 10 years.

He was a member of the Vallonia Christian Church. He had worked as a Janitor in the Brownstown school system and later retired from Seymour Tubing.

Jeff was a woodworker and loved to paint cermaics. He enjoyed taking pictures, bee keeping & gardening, but most of all loved being a grandfather.

He was born on March 6, 1958 in Jackson County, IN to the late Charles Niehause & Violet Benton Beikman. On July 17, 1982 he married Karen Hanner and she survives in Brownstown.

Other survivors are his 2 children, Wayne (Pam) Stradley & Beth Anne (Josh) Speckman both of Brownstown; 2 granddaughters, Karlynne Stradley & Keiradee Speckman; brothers, Glen Niehause of Seymour & John Pray of Inverness, FL; one sister, Patty Southworth of Bedford.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the Vallonia Christian Church with Chris Criminger and Floyd Fisher officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will take place at the Kurtz Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to Vallonia Christian Church or The Amyloidosis Foundation.
