Mr. Danny Ray Davis, 72, of Seymour, passed away peacefully Monday, September 30, 2019 at home surrounded by his family after a long battle with COPD. He was born in Evansville to the late Jack and Flora (Norman) Davis.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, October 4 from 2-7 p.m. A flag and taps presentation will be held at 7 p.m. to honor Danny’s years of service and dedication to our country. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

He was a graduate of North High School, class of 1964. Following graduation, he served for 4 years in the U.S. Air Force. Danny was a master craftsman in the carpentry industry. He had a passion for fishing, golfing and enjoyed dancing.

Danny is survived by his wife, Karen (Barger) Davis; children, Dana (Davis) Boyle, Greg Davis and Jamie (Davis) Carlson; stepchildren, Toby Allen and Traci Combs. Danny was the second oldest of nine children. He was an amazing grandfather to several grandchildren.
