Daily closures of State Road 39 in Jackson and Washington counties are scheduled Tuesday through Thursday to complete pipe replacements in preparation for a $5 million asphalt resurface project set to begin this fall.

From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, the road will be closed in two sections between State Road 56 and State Road 256. Pipe replacement approximately 1 mile south of Little York will be Tuesday, and pipe replacement approximately a half-mile north of Little York is set for Wednesday.

The detour is State Road 256 to Interstate 65 to State Road 250.

Then from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, State Road 39 will be closed between State Road 256 and State Road 250 for pipe replacement about 2 miles north of Tampico,

The detour is State Road 56 to I-65 to State Road 256.
