Paws to Read sessions set at library

The Jackson County Public Library offers Paws to Read featuring George, a gentle standard poodle who likes hugs, and his furry friends at the library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

The free 30-minute program was created with struggling readers in mind to help build confidence and increase fluency when reading aloud.

The program for children in kindergarten through fifth grade is at 5 p.m. Sept. 12 and 26, Oct. 10 and 24 and Nov. 7 and 21.
