Larry Lee Ault, 65, formerly of Seymour, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019, at Bay Pines VA Hospital in Florida.
He was born in Seymour to the late Daniel E. Ault and June Goodman Vaughn of Seymour.
The funeral service will be at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Dan Defriece officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour, and Crane Naval Reserve Honor Guard.
Family and friends may call at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. A Masonic service will be Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Larry was retired from the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, American Veterans, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Shriners, DAV, Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge.
He is survived by his mother; son, Sean Ault; his grandchildren; brother, Gary Ault; sister, Sherry Babey; as well as a niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father; and stepfather, William “Bill” Vaughn.
