Helen R. Staublin, 89, of Columbus, passed from this life at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2019 at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Helen was born January 2, 1930, in Harrison, Indiana, the daughter of Fred and Rose Losekamp Kocher.

Mrs. Staublin was a homemaker and a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour and a former member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, William F. Staublin; children, Nancy (Jim) Morgan of Glasgow, Kentucky, Father Dan Staublin of Seymour, Tony (Terrie) Staublin of Scipio, David (Cathi) Staublin of Elizabethtown, Jenny (Steve) O’Bryan of Mason, Ohio and Julie (Curt) Settle of Columbus; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters; and a grandson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour with Father Dan Staublin officiating.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street and 10:00 a.m. to time of service Monday at the church.

Burial will be at St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery in Seymour.
