The Jackson County History Center is accepting donations for its upcoming rummage sale.

Small furniture, clothing, jewelry and household items are among the items that may be donated.

The sale is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 23 and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 24 in the livery barn at the history center, 105 N. Sugar St., Brownstown.

Items may be dropped off in the center’s genealogical library between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays through Aug. 19. Other arrangements for drop-off may be made by calling 812-358-2118.

On Aug. 24, items will be half-price from 8 a.m. to noon, and fill a bag for $3 will be from noon to 3 p.m.
