Wilson “Willie” Dean Fisher, age 36, of Norman, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019.

Mr. Fisher was a disabled veteran where he did basic training at Fort Benning then went on to Fort Hood in Texas.

Willie was generous and thoughtful to everyone, including his sister, Ciara. He loved playing video games, playing his guitars, and loved his dog, Vash.

Born on May 25, 1983 in Bedford, he was the son of Jeff and Dora Fisher, both of whom survive.

Survivors also include one sister, Ciara (Trenton) Rogers of Chesterfield, MO; grandmothers: Estelle Fisher, and Ruby Wilson; special cousin & best friend, Joey Mikels; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Wilson was also preceded in death by both his grandfathers: Edgar Wilson Jr., and Dean Fisher; and uncle: Tim Wilson.

Funeral services for Wilson Fisher will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Barry DeWitt officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., and from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Liberty Cemetery, Norman.

Memorial may be given to The Fisher House in Fort Hood, Texas, and the Disabled AmericanVeterans.
