Dramatist Betty Gray will bring the story of Mary, the mother of Jesus, during an evening of worship at 6 p.m. Sunday at Freetown Church of Christ, 7077 N. State Road 135.

The public is invited to join the congregation in beginning the Christmas season by listening to an account from Mary’s perspective of before the Savior’s birth through much of what she experienced to the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, according to a news release from the church.

Finger foods will be served following the service.
